THE COMPANY

The Living Mode began in 2020, with a love of interior design and a frustration we couldn't shake.

Of every piece in a home, mirrors had always felt the most quietly powerful — capable of changing the entire feeling of a room with the right proportion and frame. Yet they were also the hardest to find. The variety was thin. The sizes never quite fit. And even when we found one we loved, there was always the quiet anxiety of wondering whether it'd survive the journey home in one piece.

So we set out to fix it.

So we made the brand we wished existed.

We began working directly with makers to bring in a wider range of sizes, finishes, and silhouettes — and just as importantly, building a delivery process we could stand behind. Because a mirror you love is only worth something if it arrives in one piece.

That's where The Living Mode lives today. A small, considered home brand for people who care about the details — the proportions of a frame, the weight of a wood, the way a finish catches the late-afternoon sun.

We only sell pieces we'd put in our own homes. If we're not confident in something, we don't carry it. That's the whole rule.
